Adventure at Pakalitkalit Falls, El Nido Palawan Philippines

From our excellent tours in El Nido Palawan, we headed back to Puerto Princessa, Palawan. While traveling, our group seeks for a tourist spot  that we all can stop over for our lunch. On our quest for a place, looking for sign boards. There is a little sign that says "Tour Guide Here" near the road, exited and hungry we are eager to find out what is behind this message. As we inquire for the place, we asked few locals about it, surprisingly the locals that we are talking to are already the tour guides! The tour guides told us that there is a water fall near by and it's only a walking distance. Catching for our time schedule, the group agreed immediately to choose the falls as our place for lunch. 

So the group plans to buy fresh fish from the sea coz they suggested that its more cheaper than from the market, buy eggs, rice, sardines, Soy Sauce, vinegar and more. And we did that. As our hike begins we passed 5 rivers and 3 mountains!

That's walking distance! uhuhuhU. Exhausted yet, exited and hungry we arrived to the spots and more surprisingly the falls as we imagined as high and big is actually the opposite.

Some what disappointed, we accepted that fact that we are there hungry and catching our breaths. But life must go on so we just prepared our lunch. Improvising things that we can use to cook the rice as well as the eggs, fish and sardines. Its quite rewarding for the group coz we imagined ourselves lost and needs to find a way to survive. So here we are. :)

While some are preparing for lunch, the rest of the group explores the place. We are also accompanied by other tourists.

For me it was very memorable and fun. After we ate we headed back to the van and traveled back to Puerto Princessa.
